The purpose of this site is to collect enough money to constitute an association (a humanitarian foundation) to help mainly the orphan children in the world as well as to help, within our means, all others who suffer in misery. We plan to intervene mainly in Asia, but we will also work in Africa and South America. This organization has already a name. Its name is Stop All Misery (SAM), and its website www.stopallmisery.com (a prototype under construction for now).
SAM will function project by project. There will be a central website of SAM that you will be able to consult and will be like a “dashboard” of all the projects in the following main areas:
SAM will have no ties with any particular country, political party, or religious organization. Any person, in the world, can submit a proposal for a project to SAM. Then, if the project is feasible, we will create an exclusive website for this project. There will be as many websites as there are projects. These sites will be fully accessible to everyone.
On each project site, we will identify ALL the elements of the project (project description, its principals / people involved, picture galleries, financing, etc.). In addition to being informative for the general public, the website will be actually a working site for the project (Forum, Mails). It will be a vehicle for exchanging ideas, follow-up on progress, document usage of the donations, support for project accounting and reporting, etc.
Sometimes it is just enough to put together experts in a field to help others. Volunteer experts can tell us if such or such project is feasible and to evaluate its cost and timeline.
Some other times it will be necessary to invest money to carry out these projects.
In all cases we will always develop and support projects that actively involve local population (i.e. the applicants).
We believe that a help is appreciated only if it is actually understood and implemented, by those who have need for it (“do not give a person a fish, but to teach them how to fish”).
To carry out all that, one needs time, determination and also, of course, money.
My name is Denis Luglia and I decided to spend the rest of my life working on this enterprise. Other friends in the world (in the United States, in China, in Indonesia, in Thailand and in Vietnam) support me and are already helping me in this endeavor. The money of the donations will be also used to pay me and all the material necessary to run this organization (lease of a server and development PC, implementation of paid or voluntary teams in various countries, etc.)

We figured out several ways to collect donations.
The simple idea is to sell the right to post image or logos.

If such prohibited images are detected, they will be removed and no refund will be made.
We encourage all our visitors to communicate to us, immediately, these images, so that we can remove them.
We also remind that the owners of this site cannot be held responsible for the contents for the external sites. All the images of this site are copyrighted to their respective owners.
Later, we will introduce a concept of categories of images so that the visitors can seek images according to several criteria.
The possible formats of image are these types : jpg ,png ,gif ..
No animated images (they fatigue the visitors)
There is no problem for images higher than wider. They just will occupy all the reserved space..

At the end of the transaction, if everything goes well, you should receive a confirmation e-mail .

In addition to personal satisfaction of participating in a humanitarian operation the principal benefit for you will be the promotion.
The more our site will be visited, the more you will have chance to be seen and will be increasing the traffic on your own web site.
Except some major, unforeseen, event, it is expected that the site will last indefinitely.
Thus your images or logos will remain on the site as long as the site lasts.
We make commitment to manage and run this site for at least 3 years and will do our best to make sure the site remains open 24 / 7 (except for events out of our control or for regular maintenance).
Our intent, of course, is to keep this site open as long as possible beyond this 3 years period.
In theory NOT.
To install (buy) the images or logos you have to pass by a whole series of validations and thus if you, donor, reached the final process of payment, it is really that you wanted to make this donation.
It can however happen that a problem occurs during the payment. In this case, please, contact us for more details.
If really you want to make your images definitely erased from our server, contact us and we will do the necessary.
But even in this case there will not be a refund.

The purpose of this site, as of other sister sites, which will be developed in association with this one, will be to collect donations to develop the “Stop All Misery” (SAM) organization. Initially, the money will be deposited on private accounts.
There are already two accounts (one in the United States and one in France). Soon a third account will be opened in an Australian bank in Vietnam.
Over time, therefore, when we receive the donations, the money will be deposited in one of these accounts.
This temporary arrangement is in place only until we establish a structure in the form of an association or of a foundation.
In order to do that, we have to select the optimum entity in terms of volume and type of activities and taxation. It is out of question that the donated money goes to any taxing authorities.

Our goal is to minimize the expenses so that the money goes where it should be going, i.e. towards the people who need it the most.
Lastly, when SAM is operational, ALL the donations made on SAM will be entered in the records maintained on the site with complete traceability.
We will make the best efforts, within the SAM organization, to identify and share with you the exact path of your donations (see also the explanations on SAM).
In summary, the money sent to SAM through this website (as for all the collecting sites of the donations for SAM put in place later), will be transferred to SAM operations and a portion will be used for our operating overhead.
